Reality of True Worship Part 2

Worship transfers authority

Lucifer had authority.
The one who is worshiped, gives a part of his authority to his worshiper.
To worship someone means to acknowledge your nothingness compared with someone’s might. It means to acknowledge all authority over you.

When we worship someone, we look up to him and slowly transform into his likeness.
In order to lead, it is necessary to receive authority. This happens through worship.

The point of worship is to reach a revelation

God not only lets us feel Him, but He also speaks in worship.
When you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, when God will touch you, you will be making very wise and original decisions. 2-Kings 3:15-18 More

Reality of True Worship Part 1

Last Friday we kicked off new series called “Reality of True Worship.” During the first part of seven we spoke about the meaning of worship. It was an eye-opening experience that made youth realize the big privileges and an honor Christians have when they are true worshipers of God.

God created people for a very special purpose.

Ezekiel 28: 14 “You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.” But when Lucifer fell, his anointing and his place stood empty. After the loss of such a beautiful creation as Lucifer, God created men, so that they could worship Him and take the empty place left by Lucifer.

Worshipers protect first commandment

Exodus 20:3, 4 “You shall have no other gods before me.” “You shall not bow down to them or worship them.” Matthew 4:10 “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” More
