Этот год оказался самым трудным из всех: уже долгое время в этих местах не идут дожди, а значит нет урожая, гибнет скот, голодают люди. Ужасные картины представали перед глазами миссионеров: страшнейшая засуха, выгоревшая трава, потрескавшаяся земля, мертвые коровы вдоль дороги. Перенеся много трудностей, испытаний и даже болезни, группа выполнила основную цель – закупка и доставка кукурузы, что является основным продуктом питания для жителей Танзании(Африка).

Missionary trip to India in May 2008 was my first mission experience. Since it was the very first time and a country I have never been to, I had no idea what to expect from it all.
When we arrived at the airport of New Delhi I thought to my self “Radical!” Everything was totally incomparably different to our America; culturally and mentally.

Scale for "tanzania-project" of FRONTLINE
Love of God IM’s project “Joseph” is feeding the hungry in Tanzania, Africa. Every day more and more people are joining this project to help to fight starvation of precious people of Africa.

In the beginning of this year, youth of Love of God IM made a goal to collect $1000 for this program. To reach this goal we started in February and were planning to finish it in September, but in early June in FRONTLINE’s box there was already more than $1000.
One bag of corn right now costs $10. This means that right now in Tanzania our missionary Gottfrid Stenroos can buy more than 100 bags, which is more then 10 tons of corn. 10 tons of corns will feed 1,500-2,100 hungry people for a whole month. More

Every human being needs to go on a mission at least once in his/her life. I’m not talking about going to LA or Las Vegas for missions, but going to the places where our help is a critical part of people’s daily fight for survival.
Tanzania, Africa was my second mission destination. After seeing the lives and conditions in which Barbaick tribe live there, something happened to me on the inside. My world was shattered into millions of pieces. I saw those weak little children with swollen stomachs because they just don’t have any food or water. In some cases, tape worms deprive these innocent children of the little nourishment they receive. I could sense death laughing at them, longing to take another one. It is extremely hard to live in that cursed land.
Here in America our pets live hundreds of times better than the beautiful children who lack food and clean water. Many will painfully die not even reaching the age of five (1 out of 6 children).
