Reality of True Worship Part 2

Reality of True Worship Part 2

Worship transfers authority

Lucifer had authority.
The one who is worshiped, gives a part of his authority to his worshiper.
To worship someone means to acknowledge your nothingness compared with someone’s might. It means to acknowledge all authority over you.

When we worship someone, we look up to him and slowly transform into his likeness.
In order to lead, it is necessary to receive authority. This happens through worship.

The point of worship is to reach a revelation

God not only lets us feel Him, but He also speaks in worship.
When you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, when God will touch you, you will be making very wise and original decisions. 2-Kings 3:15-18 More

Reality of True Worship. Part 1 Overview.

Reality of True Worship Part 1

Reality of True Worship Part 1

Last Friday we kicked off new series called “Reality of True Worship.” During the first part of seven we spoke about the meaning of worship. It was an eye-opening experience that made youth realize the big privileges and an honor Christians have when they are true worshipers of God.

God created people for a very special purpose.

Ezekiel 28: 14 “You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.” But when Lucifer fell, his anointing and his place stood empty. After the loss of such a beautiful creation as Lucifer, God created men, so that they could worship Him and take the empty place left by Lucifer.

Worshipers protect first commandment

Exodus 20:3, 4 “You shall have no other gods before me.” “You shall not bow down to them or worship them.” Matthew 4:10 “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” More

True Worshipers Kill Wickedness

FRONTLINE Youth CenterWorship isn’t about feeling butterflies. True worshipers of God are called to kill wickedness!

Exodus 32:25-29Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them get out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies. So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the LORD, come to me.” And all the Levites rallied to him.

Then he said to them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.’ ” The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. Then Moses said, “You have been set apart to the LORD today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and He has blessed you this day.”

We all have a choice to make. We can be on the side of carelessness where men do whatever they feel like doing. Where people live without any moral or spiritual standards. But I choose to be on the side of holiness. More

Christianity Shouldn’t Be An Advertising Agency

Romans 6:23

Yes, Christianity shouldn’t be an advertising agency, but a lot of times this is the very thing it reminds me of. Advertising agencies make sure people hear only what they would love to hear. They make sure people see only what people would love to see. Ads never point out negative sides of the product. They bring out only bright and beautiful sides.

Christianity shouldn’t be an advertising agency where what people would love is written with biggest letters and the most important information is written with the smallest letters. True Christians shouldn’t be afraid to shout out the truth from the roof tops, because this is what truth deserves – to be known and never  ashamed of.

Back To How It All Supposed To Be!

When we honestly worship God, something incredible happens. Time begins to shift; from present reality into the state of being of how it all supposed to be from the beginning. When we worship God, it is as if we go back to the beginning when God just created man and everything was perfect. Problems, sweat, pain, hurt – it all didn’t exist.

When we worship our God in truth and in Spirit, we take ourselves back to how it all supposed to be, because during worship God does miracles. During worship pain runs away, God reveals how to deal with certain life situations and problems, depression changes into happiness, life comes closer and closer to the perfection God intended for His children. Hello, My Name is… (NOTES)

Hello, my name is...

Hello, my name is...

Your identity is your destiny!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2-Cor. 5:17)

God had specific reasons for giving people certain names before they were even born:
Jesus – the Lord is Salvation
John (the Baptist) – God’s grace (John prepared the way for Jesus, who was indeed the grace of God sent to us)

Why God changed names of people?
It was usually to establish a new identity.

Abram – exalted father (Genesis 17:5)
Abraham – father of many

Jacob – Supplanter (to take the place of (another), as through force, scheming, strategy, or the like.) – Gen. 32:2
Israel – perseveres. having power with God

Lo-Ruhamah – Not having obtained mercy, not pitied (Hosea 2:23)
Ruhamah – “one who was spared”, “one who received the feelings of mercy and pity”

Lo-Ammi – not my people (Hosea 2:23)
Ammi – my people

Sarai – princess (Genesis 17:15)
Sarah – mother of nations

Simon – God has heard
Peter – Rock (Matthew 16:18)

Benjamin – Son of my right hand
From the Hebrew name בִּנְיָמִין (Binyamin) which means “son of the south” or “son of the right hand”. Benjamin in the Old Testament was the twelfth and youngest son of Jacob and the founder of one of the southern tribes of the Hebrews. He was originally named בֶּן־אוֹנִי (Ben-’oniy) meaning “son of my sorrow” by his mother Rachel, who died shortly after childbirth, but it was later changed by his father. More

If Jesus has changed, then He has forgotten to tell us

Jesus said, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me because He has anointed Me.” He is the “Anointed One” of this new dispensation. That is exactly how the first Gospel preacher, the Apostle Peter, understood it. He told his audience (the first Europeans to hear the Gospel), that: “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).

The expression “the Anointed” is the same as “Christ.” To say, “Jesus Christ” is to say, “Jesus the Anointed One.”

Was He anointed only while He was here on earth? If so, we should not call Him “Christ” any more. But if He is the same, then He is still the “Anointed One” today. That is what He is, exactly as is said of Him in Hebrews 13:8: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Not “Jesus” alone, but “Jesus Christ, the Anointed One.” More

What You Have Is Who You Are!

Some time ago I was talking to my God and I said, “You are so good to me. You care for me and You guide me every day of my life. You did so much for me, but how can I give you thanks for all that You’ve done for me? But what can I do for You?” And Jesus answered, “Give Me yourself!”

As we give thanks to our God, especially during these holidays, let us not forget to ask Him what we can do for Him as a thanksgiving. If He will say, “Give Me yourself,” would you say “Yes! Here I am!”? Many people say “yes” without fully understanding such dedication. Many say “yes” to God but never want to part away from what they have because what you have is who you are. When you dedicate yourself to God, you literally dedicate everything you own as well; if not – its not a sincere dedication! More

UNFADING ANOINTING

Here is a hot but all-important question. Jesus sent the disciples from the upper room on the day of Pentecost equipped with power. So – how long did it last? How far did they get before it petered out and their tank was empty? Did they come back after each mission to the upper room singing ‘We want another Pentecost. Send the fire!’? More
